My wife is trying to trace her family, KEMP. I will try to get her to give me more details so I can post them on these pages (We are too frightened of what we might discover if we look into the Stocker family too much). So far we think that the man who founded Kemp Town in Brighton, Sussex might be a distant relative. Until there is anything worthwhile to post I'll keep this on this page. Afterwards I'll set up another, separate page.

Married 14.2.1944 to Audrey nee Hickie in Thakser India born 1.3.1919

Grandfather: Charles Henry Kemp Born 16.9.1876 Canterbury Kent England

Married Daisy Gladys Jones Married 7.2.1912 In India

Great Grandfather Major Walter Henry Kemp: born 10.7.1849 - Horse vet in the British Army. Married Rose Emily Marian Roche 7.11.1873 in Bombay Cathedral India.

Great Great Grandfather Major John Kemp : baptised in Alnwick Northumberland England. He was the Master of the Horse to the Duke of Northumberland. Married 3.3.1843 to Elizabeth Barnsfather in Alnwick. We haven't yet found his father.
